1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Zaniora (the "Service") you agree to these terms, the privacy policy and the cookie policy. If you don't agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is provided by Nortework (https://norteworks.com). Detailed legal entity and tax registration to be published before public launch.
2. What the Service is
Zaniora is a SaaS for independent nutrition professionals to manage patients, build diets and deliver them via a dedicated patient portal. The applicable functional scope for your plan is documented on this website.
3. Account and eligibility
- You must be a healthcare professional licensed to provide clinical nutrition in your jurisdiction (in Spain: a registered dietitian-nutritionist).
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You must be of legal age and have legal capacity to contract.
4. Trial period and subscription
- Free trial: 14 days, no credit card. After expiry, without payment method, your account becomes read-only.
- Plans: monthly billing. Available plans, prices and limits are published on the pricing page.
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled.
- Cancellation: you can cancel anytime via the Stripe portal linked from your account. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; no refund of unused time.
- Plan changes: upgrades are immediate with Stripe prorating. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Use the Service in compliance with applicable law and professional ethics.
- Obtain informed consent from your patients before processing their data on the platform, per GDPR.
- Not attempt to access data of other tenants or resources you are not authorised for.
- Not reverse-engineer, mass-scrape, or run unauthorised security testing.
- Not introduce illegal content, malware or material infringing third-party rights.
6. Patient data
You are the data controller for your patients' data; Zaniora acts as processor. By accepting these terms you also sign the applicable data processing agreement, available at signup.
7. Intellectual property
- The software, "Zaniora" brand, visual identity, code and documentation are owned by Nortework or its licensors.
- You retain ownership of the data you upload (food catalog, templates, diets, patient files). You grant us a limited license strictly to operate the Service.
- We may use aggregated and anonymised metrics for statistical or improvement purposes.
8. Availability and maintenance
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may schedule maintenance with prior notice and run emergency maintenance without notice when necessary for security or stability.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zaniora is not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential damages or lost profits.
- Clinical decisions made by the professional based on information from the platform. The platform is a management tool; clinical judgement is yours.
- Breaches caused by force majeure, subprocessor outages or attacks exceeding reasonable state-of-the-art security.
Total cumulative liability of Zaniora to a customer is capped at the amount actually paid by that customer in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms or your activity puts the service or other users at risk. If we terminate without cause, we give 30 days' notice and provide data export.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the consumer's domicile when they are a natural person acting outside their professional activity; otherwise, to the courts of Nortework's registered office.
